As someone who has completed the first third of his life (I keep telling my kids that I am good to 120 so I will let you figure out how old I am) I have had great opportuntiies to read, study, and try various methods to reaching a fulfiled life.

What I have discovered though is that the problem with most people–including myself–is that we have thought of prosperity as only having to do with money.

As soon as you do that the red flags of guilt show up–money is the root of evil, you should be happy with what you have, don’t be so greedy, you don’t really deserve money do you, and I am sure that you can add your own comments to the list.

That is the problem when you define prosperity as nothnig more than money.

They tell us that people really don’t come into their own until after that magic mark of “40″. I used to question that–in fact I was going to be a millionaire and retired long before that.

That was not the case, and is still not the case. I am not a millionaire, nor am I retired–at least not in the physical sense of it.

Let me start by giving you my definition of prosperity–it is having everything that you need in order to do the things that you have been created by God to do.

That means that you will be able to do what you want, when you want, and not have to think about things such as money. In fact this is not about money.

This is where most people miss it–they focus on what they don’t have and guess what, they keep on materializing more of that–what they dont’ have.

A prosperous life is not one that is focused on obtaining bigger and better things–oh, they may be a spinoff, but that is not where the attention goes.

Nor is it the focus of this site. Yes, I believe that goals–or better yet intentions–are important to set.

No the purpose of this site is to bring you practical principles of living for all areas of your life so that you will be able to accomplish everything that God wants you to accomplish. You will have all your needs met, the health you require, the relationships that you desire, and the freedom to live life to its fullest–never again having to say, “I can’t”.

So where are these “ancient principles” coming from? Even though I saw today a car in a parade that was a “vintage 1979″ Cougar (which happens to be the same year I graduated from high school–another clue to my age) that is not the “ancient” era I am referring to.

No, the principles for 21st century success come from the best Source from centuries past and continues to be the best seller today.

Now before you close this link, I want you to come with an open mind to hanging around and seeing if there isn’t some truth here that you can use. Everyone is ready to go off and chase some guru from the Far East (an area of the world where only 59% of the population are literate–only 48% of women, where the average annual income is $3,300, where over 25% of the population are below the poverty line, and where the average life expectancy is 65, compared to say where I am from which is 80).

At the same time, we have principles here in the west that have also led to poverty, pain, and suffering where people live check-to-check, are in poor health and where relationships are in a mess.

However in all areas of the word there are people that are living truly prosperous lives and when you dig deeper you discover that these people have discovered what it means to live true spiritual lives based upon principles found within the Bible.

This is not about some church or religion, this is about principles from some of the greatest spiritual writers and thinkers of the ages. Unfortunately most religious people and churches don’t understand these principles themselves. If they did this would be a much different world.

I also believe that if the principles we are going to discover together were taught around the world we would see a reduction in poverty, health issues, national issues, war, divorce, child abuse, and the list goes on.

Yes there are a number of other sites out there that talk about some of what is being taught here. However, I am on the same journey that you. I am going to be sharing with you what has worked for me and what hasn’t.

So hang around and let’s journey to together.
